8/26/2016 (Permalink)

Baking soda can be used in several different procedures to clean. Most people who bake are familiar with its capability to cause baked goods to rise. Although it is a great ingredient for baked goods, baking soda also an excellent component for cleaning. The element can be used to clean your child's toys by mixing 4 teaspoons of baking soda, with 1 quart warm water in a spray bottle. After the baking soda has dissolved, spray the mixture on to the toys. After you have finished this step, rinse all of the toys with water and leave them to dry. Baking soda can also be used to remove those unwanted coffee stains.

Have you ever rushed to work or class in the morning and spilled coffee all over your new clothes you were excited to wear? Well this dilemma has unfortunately happened to me several of times, but do not panic! There is a solution to remove the stains and you do not have to throw out your new clothes. Just mix 1 tsp of baking soda with 1 cup of water and use a clean cloth to gently scrub to bring your clothes back to new.
